What works now

Face matching runs directly in your browser using locally served YuNet and SFace models. Selecting a photo first loads the face detector (about 12 MB). Starting a local file comparison downloads the recognition model (another 37 MB). On slower devices this may take a little time.

Choose your photo to detect faces immediately. Select your own face from the detected crops, then choose photos or videos to check. Results show possible matching faces and video timestamps. You can open the original file, add a publication URL and prepare a removal request.

One combined online search. XYA sends compressed face crops from your supplied photos to FaceCheck in one query, then searches each full photo through SerpApi and Google Lens. Results from both sources appear together; duplicate publication URLs from image searches are omitted. If one provider fails, available results remain visible. Face similarity is not proof of identity. The providers do not cover every public page, account or video, and subscriber-only posts are not searched. FaceCheck may return explicit images. Google Lens filters them unless you select the 18+ option.

Identity verification and automatic request delivery are not implemented. Similarity thresholds are experimental and need accuracy evaluation.

Privacy & limitations

Your selected photos, videos and face vectors stay in browser memory. Local comparison does not upload them. Online search sends compressed face crops to FaceCheck and compressed full photos to SerpApi and Google, only after your explicit consent. XYA does not save uploaded photos, provider keys or search results on its server. Provider policies govern their handling. Results may load thumbnails from external sources. Clear your session or reload to remove them. Models and runtime files may remain in your browser’s normal cache.

Publication URLs, notes and request drafts are stored in this browser. They are not shared between devices. Delete a request to remove its record. Downloaded drafts remain wherever you saved them.

Only process media you’re entitled to use. Face matches are suggestions, not proof of identity. The tool cannot determine whether a publication was authorized or whether you have a legal right to removal.

Videos: up to 10 minutes and 500 MB each, sampled every 2 seconds. Photos: up to 10 MB and 20 megapixels. Up to 50 files per search. Blurred or hidden faces may not be found. Results are not an exhaustive view of the internet.
